Who:
High school and college students who are interested in or are already majoring in journalism. Students from all area high schools and colleges are eligible, but enrollment is limited.
What:
NABJ-Tulsa Urban Journalism Workshop
This is a hands-on opportunity to work with local media professionals in the field of journalism. This basic level journalism workshop will focus on print, TV, radio and multi-media journalism. Attention will also be focused on life skills including public speaking.
The deadline to apply is June 1.

The National Association of Black Journalists-Tulsa strives to aid in the development and retention of black journalists in Oklahoma media by providing professional and student development, education, networking and support. In addition, NABJ-Tulsa strives to monitor and sensitize all media to racism and to increase the number of black journalists in management positions.
