100 Black Men of Tulsa

I’m on a break at work reading an e-mail from Marvin Blades about young men being mentored by the 100 Black Men of Tulsa. Mr. Blades writes passionately about mentoring and how it can make the difference in a person’s life almost immediately. The young men that his group are helping are responding by trying to be better at all they do seemingly because of someone who cared enough to ask them to do so. That’s powerful.
