All Souls Memorial Sermon & 1921 Race Riot
Marlin Lavanhar is the minister of All Souls Unitarian Church, 2900 S. Peoria, in Tulsa. He is the president of the Tulsa Metropoitan Ministry.
Many people have asked for copies of the sermon I delivered last Sunday about the 1921 Tulsa Race Riot and the connection with Memorial Day. I offered it, in part, as a precursor to the John Hope Franklin Center symposium this week in Tulsa. It is a 15 minute sermon and below you will find links to video and audio versions online.
