NABJ-Tulsa Urban Journalism Workshop applications are available. Deadline to apply is June 1. Space is limited. This year promises to be bigger and better than ever. Sign-up now.

Please contact students to attend the NABJ-Tulsa 2010 UJW. This year we are collaborating with Langston University-Tulsa and their Gear-Up program, A Pocket Full of Hope and TCC Connection.

If you plan to participate as a mentor but haven’t been contacted, don’t delay. We will have a planning meeting at Moe’s Place on the OSU-Tulsa campus at noon on Tuesday May 25.

    I am excited about the upcoming Urban Journalism Workshop this summer. I have spoken to several parents who are encouraging their sons and daughters to apply and participate. Because the limit on the number approved, I advised them contact the Directors – Russell LaCour or Mary L. Williams to reserve a spot.
